Fleeting Windows of Opportunity

Yutang Lin

All phenomena evolve and transform as a river flows.
Opportune opportunities are too difficult to come by.
Hesitation due to suspicion would change the situation.
Even if redeemed later, no longer the same as before!

Comment:

Gathering or dispersing in worldly matters, proceeding or stopping on the Dharma path, all are impermanent, just as a river flows incessantly. Matching concurrences are rare to come by, only pure faith could sustain them. As soon as suspicion arises, no communion in any way. Both feelings and situations had changed, no means to continue. Even though later one might learn to reflect, Alas! Suspicion-free no more!
