Upasaka

Yutang Lin

Minute and humble, all alone in the world.
Worldly power void, try to grasp the truth.
Lucky to attend Buddha to ease sufferings;
Responding to all fairly to spread Dharma.

Comment:

A lay Buddhist practitioner in the world has no worldly position or power to rely on. Going beyond worldly affairs one gradually experiences the real situation. Fortunately to have the opportunity to serve Buddha and thereby to deeply understand all sorts of sufferings of sentient beings. Receive and respond to calls with an equal mind; after long years of Dharma services connections are spreading.
