Not to Add Pain

Yutang Lin

News of disasters came from all over the world;
Human lives are fragile with sufferings profuse.
Spreading salt over wounds amounts to cruelty;
How could we on same Earth fight one another?

Comment:

Subsistence is difficult for many people, and yet fighting has never ceased in the world.
The situation of the world is rather pitiful; it is not just in need of compassionate mercy.
Human lives are fragile and in constant dangers, sooner or later sufferings will creep in.
It is only reasonable for humans to help one another, how could we add more infliction?
