Making Good Use

Yutang Lin

Difficult to foresee how much longer this life will last;
Racing with death to achieve tiny contribution in time.
Making good uses of time by setting mind on Dharma;
Activities are only as offerings to all, no other seeking.

Comments:

Difficult to know in advance when death will come. Therefore, one needs to actively engage in Dharma activities of one's own choice. It is like racing with death so as to accomplish the contribution in time. No better way to make good uses of time than to concentrate on one's dedication and sustain it.
