The Path of Forgiving

Yutang Lin

To tolerate and forgive suits us humans who err.
'Tis unwise to track faults and join entanglement.
The border between good and evil remains clear;
Each one will face karma consequences all alone.

Comments:

To err is human. Tolerating and forgiving one another would help sustain peace and harmony. Relentless faultfinding would engage all parties into entanglement; why need to suffer so much? However, forgiveness has its proper way; it should not become indulgence that leads to indiscrimination of good and evil or to association in immorality. At the juncture of what should be done and what not it is only prudent that one chooses the right path. No need to fight or argue; sooner or later karmic consequences catch up with everyone.
