Beyond the Circle

Yutang Lin

Schools and sects are prosperous or declining.
Comparisons within the circle remain worldly.
No leisure to look around at the various paths.
Boundless Dharmadhatu offers test profound.

Comment:

Some said, "As a practitioner you need to know about how the others are faring." In fact, all considerations regarding how various schools or individuals are faring are just worldly thoughts. They have no bearing on real practices. A practitioner should constantly face the real tests stemming from the boundless depth and width of the Dharmadhatu but not be confined by worldly circumstances of any particular time and locality.
