A Matter of Conscience

Yutang Lin

Facing death everything becomes helpless;
The only thing that still matters is peace of mind.
Constantly reflecting thus would ease disentangling;
Effective practice is to maintain original conscience.

Comments:

Often reflect on the helplessness of facing death, one would readily recognize how to apply efforts in practice. Worldly things eventually become illusive. A generous and earnest mind would benefit others and bring peace to oneself; how could one not enjoy abiding in it?
