        Tea Offering Yutang
          Lin
        In my childhood in Taiwan
Along roadsides there were some tea containers and tea cups
Good people made tea offering to passersby
Then I thought of imitating such charitable deeds
And wanted to do the same
Applying Powa practice of Buddhist Tantra
Voluntarily offered free services to help relieve deceased beings
It had been over twenty and some years of such service
And such requests came from all corners of the world
        Once someone questioned the practice
Without consent of the deceased and their relatives
How could the practice be arbitrarily rendered to them
        Replied
          The practice of Powa
Is very similar to offering tea along the roadside
Thirsty ones will pick it up themselves
How could it be forced upon anyone
How could I coerce deceased beings to receive the benefits of Powa practice
Even though I have not put into deeds the intention to make tea offering
Through Powa services over so many years
Deceased beings have universally been helped
Indeed, the charitable intention of tea offering have been carried out in expansion
